Delivery & Returns

For the UK, the final price quoted on the web payments page includes delivery - currently £5.99. A 'Next working day' service is available at a cost of £9.99, this applies to orders which are placed before 12.30pm Mon-Thurs. Parcels are sent via Royal Mail or our designated carrier and we ask you to allow 14 working days from receipt of your order for delivery, though most often your order will arrive much more quickly. Please allow additional days for delivery at busy periods like Christmas. Unless you give us alternative instructions, our carrier will attempt to hand the parcel to you. In your best interests, we are reluctant to leave your parcel 'safe' at your home address in the event of you being out. If you are unlikely to be at home during normal working hours, please nominate a neighbour or work address for delivery (Please use alternative 'Delivery Address' or the 'Special Delivery Instructions' box on the checkout page)

Unfortunately, we are not responsible for damage which occurs when the goods have been handed to the postal or courier service. However, should you be unfortunate enough to receive damaged goods, let us know immediately. Please retain all relevant documentation so that we can make an insurance claim against the carrier's insurers. If the parcel you receive is battered, please note the fact on the delivery note, even before you open the package to examine the contents. If you are unable to open the damaged package in the presence of the carrier, make sure that you sign for it as "Damaged package; goods not yet inspected" to warn the carrier that a claim may follow.

We operate a full, no-quibble Returns Policy. If you don't like what you've bought, simply email service@owlbarn.co.uk or call our customer service department on 0345 174 0199 Option 2 for authorisation before returning. Your refund will be processed within 30 days or sooner, or items exchanged if preferred. Please note the cost of the shipping cannot be refunded but in the event of the goods being faulty or a damage claim is supported, we will provide a FREEPOST address enabling return at no cost to you. Refunds will normally be made using the same method as the original payment. (i.e. a credit card purchase will be refunded through your credit card account).
